Pants for even the most difficult body types to shop for
Finding the right pants and jeans can be frustrating if your body type is difficult to shop for. Not everyone is built with a long and lean silhouette, a fact that seems to be lost on clothing designers. Here are a couple of flattering pant styles you can try if you’re petite or full-figured:
For a full figure: non stretch women flare jeans
Shopping for jeans can be tricky as a full-figured woman, especially when it seems like your only options are stretch denim. Stretch denim can be a hassle because it stretches out by the end of the day, so you have to purchase them a size down in order to make sure they’ll still be fitted for future wears. Not everyone wants the hassle of squeezing into a tiny pair of just-washed stretch denim skinnies first thing in the morning. For a great alternative, try wearing non-stretch flare jeans, which have a little more structure and are perfect if you feel self conscious wearing jeans that are too clingy and fitted. Flares are flattering for a fuller figure because they elongate your legs and add balance to your thighs.
For a petite figure: crops for petites
If you’re petite, finding pants that are the right length can be a challenge. This is especially true when you’re on the lookout for cropped pants. Regular cropped pants end up looking oddly proportioned on petite figures. The end result is that your pants are so long that they wear you, and the cropped style is completely lost. Try crops for petites instead, which will provide just the right fit you need. Cropped pants are perfect for warmer spring weather and lend cool, casual style. Take advantage of their length and show off your favorite pair of sandals!
Give these pant styles a try, and don’t forget to let us know how they work out for you!
