One of the latest trends to pop up these days is wearing a lace vest. While some may find it difficult to dress, it’s actually a lot more versatile than some may think. All you need are a few helpful outfit ideas and you’ll be on your way to looking and feeling that much more stylish.

Outfit #1

The first outfit idea is to wear the lace vest tops with a plain dress. When I say plain, I mean one that doesn’t have a pattern or is a very simple design. You can pair this with some gold jewelry and flats or heels and the whole outfit would be complete.

Outfit #2

Another idea is to take the lace vest and wear it underneath a tube top. Whenever I wear tube tops I tend to feel more exposed, especially considering I have to wear a strapless bra with it. So by wearing a lace vest underneath, I can not only wear a normal bra, but give the tube top a completely different look by wearing the vest underneath. Most tube tops have an elastic seam along the top so you won’t have to worry too much about it slipping either. Wear this top combination with some skinny jeans and heels and you’ll be all set.

Outfit #3

You can take the vest and wear it over a nice, summery shirt dress. What’s great about this look is when you put the vest over the dress it’ll dress it down significantly. I would suggest putting on a long, dangling necklace and some ballet flats. This will give you a whole bohemian but casual feel. Wear a floral headband and you’ve got this look complete.

Varying Outfit Idea

Are you looking for something a little tougher than a delicate lace vest? Then we suggest picking up a black leather biker vest. If you are a biker, then you know better than anyone that leather is the way to go. It fully protects you, plus it gives you the look that you’re after. Wear this leather vest with some tough blue jeans and cowboy boots and you’ve completed this look.
