How to get a romantic look to your bedroom
Give your home a romantic ambiance, especially the bedroom. Celebrate life with your favorite person by adding a special flavor to your home. Go with a color coordinated look where each room blends seamlessly into the other for an elegant effect. Take a look at some suggestions to help you along:
Start off with the entryway or lobby. I’ve always liked light colored walls for home interiors like white, off-white and others. When the walls are light, everything else, the furniture, accessories like rugs, art work and others stand out to great effect. Place a few potted plants near the entrance to give an inviting aura to your home.
If the entryway leads to the living room/dining room, place furniture in such a way that the rooms look uncluttered. Go for sleek, stream-lined furniture and light colored upholstery for a sophisticated look. To give the rooms a romantic feel, place bowls of fresh flowers and scented candles on side tables and on the dining table.
Cream leather dining chairs like Marseille cream leather Nailhead dining chairs go well with different decors. The chairs have a button tufted solid beech wood top frame and legs. The Espresso finish, deep seat and concave curved back of the chairs make them both elegant and comfortable.
You can go all out in the bedroom. Pay special attention to getting a grand bed. A king-size bed will be great if you have the space for it. Add a memory foam mattress topper to the bed to give the bed a more decadent, luxurious feel.
Raymond Waites Melody bedding or other romantic comforter sets will be perfect accessories to add to the ambiance. Add decorative pillows, a canopy over the bed and shams in rich, floral patterns to highlight the bed. Throw away all clutter from the bedroom and that includes the TV, computer and other work-related things. Bring in scented, colored candles and fresh flowers here too. A large, deep, cushioned love seat placed near the window will give the finishing touch to your romantic bedroom.
