Swimwear that won’t leave you self-conscious
Shopping for swimsuits can be a challenging – and often frustrating – process, and many women dread this season every year for this very reason. If you avoid the pool during vacations, can’t quite relax at pool parties, or dread beach days with friends, you shouldn’t have to! Here are some solutions for a couple of the most common swimsuit-shopping dilemmas.
Problem #1: I’m not at my goal weight
If you’re not quite at the size you want to be, no problem! You don’t have to settle for wearing a baggy T-shirt into the water or sitting poolside in a cover-up while everyone else has fun for you. There are plenty of great slimming bathing suits out there. If your midsection is a problem area, try wearing an empire-waist swimdress, which will flare out and skim right past it. Avoid floral prints, which can come dangerously close to making you look matronly in this cut, and go for basic black or deep indigo for a more flattering look. You can also try slimming bathing suits with a tummy control panel for another approach at targeting this problem area.
Problem #2: I don’t feel comfortable in revealing swimsuits
If you don’t like to show too much skin, you probably feel like there are only slim pickings left for you. For a modest alternative to swimsuits with the cut of a yellow polka dot bikini, try taking a look at ZeroXposur swimwear instead. These are the perfect happy medium between athletic-looking one-piece swimsuits and tankinis, which are sometimes only marginally less revealing than bikinis. Try pairing black board shorts or skirted bottoms with a top in a fun print or pattern. For even more possibilities, get two or more sets of ZeroXposur swimwear separates so that you can have fun mixing and matching them.
