Try bar stools for your kitchen
I recently purchased a bar table that fit very nicely in my spacious kitchen. Next on the agenda was to pick up bar stools to match. I realized that there were many factors I had to look at like height, material, or whether or not it should be upholstered from the back.
In addition to the materials, practicality is the main idea that I always thought was vital. It was important for me to understand what the main purpose of the stool would be. How many I should pick up so that they fit perfectly while not looking clumsy? Another factor that I wanted to take into consideration was the proportion to the space that I had in my home.
I was looking at metal, wood, or a combination of the two for bar stools. Metal had several benefits, such as easy maintenance, modern designs, and affordability. In fact, since my kitchen consisted primarily of wooden furniture, I thought the wood and metal mix would be an attractive one. However, when I saw the wood bar stools with the bar stool round cushions, they stole my heart too. They were extremely comfortable and the versatile look was unmatched. In fact these would work for a traditional, country, or modern kitchen as well.
Usually modern stools are ones that have a mix of both wood and metal. The sculptural quality in particular makes them statement pieces that work very well for a minimal and modern kitchen. In fact, you may have realized that, for a neutral kitchen, wood can function as a color as well. You could try the yellow of maple or orange of the cherry! In fact – for a quirky touch – even a yellow retro kitchen step stool would work wonders, I thought.
With so many options, I set out deciding to work out the one that works best for me!
