Fashion is a lot of things combined; befuddling, beautiful, bizarre and bodacious. At the end of the day fashion is nothing but the clothes you wear and how you carry yourself. However getting it right is as easy as sticking to the basics of the game. The basic things will ensure that you will never go wrong. While fashion trends are rather tempting to follow, they vanish in a month or two. Stick to the basics and experiment with silhouettes, colors and cuts would be the best way to develop your personal style. This is exactly what I follow.

Recently I picked up a cotton blouse from a store. In fact this was possibly my umpteenth cotton blouse which I bought. Like I said my style is rather eternal and I invest into the basics where I experiment with the cuts and styles to wear them.

In fact my collection of cotton blouses, or rather I would say any persons set of cotton blouse is a versatile set. It can be worn with a pair of jeans, skirts, dress pants or shorts! When I like to make it a bit dressy accessorizing makes the outfits look great and adds a twist to it as well. Going wild with a variety of shoes has always been a passion so I like to give the basic cotton blouse attire also a completely enhancing look. Whether it be gladiators, wedges or pencil heels, they look classic!

For slightly more formal events you could opt for a sheer white blouse as well. However in most cases do remember to wear something underneath. My experience says that it is rather see through otherwise. The chicness and elegance associated with a white blouse is unmatched. It looks classy whether it is a business meeting or maybe you could jazz it up with a stunning neck piece for a cocktail dinner.
