Decorating your dining table
When it comes to your dining room, the decoration of your dining table is the most important feature. From silverware to glassware, tablecloths to centerpieces, there are a lot of pieces and items that go into decorating a dining table that you will be proud of. Fortunately for you, decorating your table can be quick and painless, so check out this checklist to make sure you have all the right items to make your dining room table sparkle:
Table Cloth – This is the first element you need, so make sure it fit properly and fits your style, whether it’s a 70 inch round tablecloth or a designer table cloth.
Silverware – What you need per seat at the table: two forks, two knifes (steak knife), spoon, desert silverware is optional. Plates are included in this grouping.
Glassware – You need a water glass, red wine glass, white wine glass or champagne flute.
Table settings – For your table settings you need a napkin and a place mat. These items should stay on the table so it does not seem empty and plain in between usage. Table runners also can be added into this group as they add a dash of style and come in many designs.
Centerpiece and decorations – It is important to note that the actual eating and drinking materials do not need to be put out unless you have a meal upcoming. Typically the table settings and decorations are the only pieces that stay. Having the right centerpiece is important for the whole ascetic as the eyes are immediately drawn to the middle of the table. A nice flower arrangement is a safe bet, but candles or some artwork works as well.
They key pieces will make your dining room look fabulous and maybe after dinner you can head outside to sit in your country living bistro sets comfort and enjoy a glass of wine for dessert.
