The bedroom is a person’s safe haven and thus one needs to design it as per their personal comforts, tastes and needs. The bedding is one of the key aspects that are a part of the bedroom. Like me, there are several people who do not change their bedding very often, thus it is great to have classic bedding options.

Comforters are one of the best options that one can opt for. There are a plethora of colors that you can get, whereas white is the most common one. There were some lovely maroon comforters I came across in a store the other day. In fact, you can get a comforter that can be used as is, or with a duvet too. Thus if one wants some various patterns or colors, the combinations are endless. When I want a neutral look, I simply take off the duvet.

While the above option works very well for winter you can consider quilts for summertime. Typically, quilts are very colorful and come in a variety of patterns. Did you know that now you can get quilts in solid colors and interesting fabrics like velvet too? In fact, there are several brands that offer a set of matching pillow shams too. The best part is that the quilt is easy to maintain as it is machine washable.

Tone on tone

Why not try some tone on tone sheets as well? If your sheets are high thread count sheets, you will see a lot of tone on tone looks. Interestingly, I realized that in some there was a stripe also included in the same color but with a different finish. I got some of them from Home Classics bedding as it added a subtle pattern to my bedding ensemble.
