Every time I go to the beach for an entire day of lounging, I keep thinking of the things that I often forget. Sometimes it is the tanning lotion, on other occasions it is a novel or magazine, etc. It can really be irritating to find out that your tote is missing something. So, I now prefer keeping a separate bag for all my beach essentials, which surely saves me a lot of time.

For starters, I have packed all of them in a medium size backpack. Packing everything you need inside the backpack, like a towel, sunscreen, a book and a swimsuit. I usually keep my towel, swimsuit or a change of dress in either of the two large compartments. There is also an internal laptop compartment for keeping your tablets or notebooks. In the other sections, you can keep the following.

• Hat/ scarves
• Sunglasses

• Wallet
