Corinne in Sewtopia

“My blog started out as a forum to chronicle my sewing life, a personal compilation of facts. In short order it became that and more. I present my projects that include quilting, garments and other small projects as well as those of friends and others. I also feature local small businesses that offer sewing and knitting supplies, known as Field Trips.” – Cheryll

I’m going crazy; you come, too

“Most of my blog is about my creative passion: crazy quilting. Unlike the precisely pieced patchwork quilts most of us are familiar with, CQing is irregular-shaped patches of fabric that are sewn to a foundation and then embellished. Embroidery, lace, buttons, charms, beads, ribbons, painted or printed images; all these can find their way onto a crazy quilt. It’s pure creativity; no pattern needed, just a good imagination! The finished product doesn’t have to be a quilt. It could become a purse, tote bag, box top, ornament, pillow, wall hanging. My blog shows just what a versatile art form crazy quilting can be.” – Janet

Kathryn Mitchell Ceramics

“My blog is a little insight into the workings of an emerging ceramic artist’s studio. I post photos and stories about my processes and techniques, and I also share my successes and the days that just didn’t go right. There are also snippets of the city I currently call home, the Gold Coast, and my travels in Australia and around the world – often all related to clay!” – Kathryn
