How to give your dog a good clean

Have you noticed that your dog has been getting a little too shaggy as of late? Then, all this dust and dirt gets caught up on his fur and that is not healthy for him or for the people around him. That is when you realize that it is time for a good doggie scrub down.
Giving your dog a good clean might seem like a daunting task but it is actually not that hard. Here is a list of a couple of items that will help you get the job done right:
Hair clippers
You have to shorten your dog’s hair every now and then, particularly when the weather is warm. A good haircut is a new look for your dog and, more importantly, helps him to stay cool and catch some extra Vitamin C. I suggest getting a set of variable speed clippers because of the fact that they can give you some extra creative control.
Doggie shampoo
A good shampoo is the key ingredient to a good doggie bath. It helps to kill off potentially harmful germs and give a dog’s fur coat an attractive and healthy shine. One great dog shampoo is tea tree oil shampoo for dogs; it has a delightful scent and is made of all-natural ingredients.
Grooming brush
Running a pet grooming brush through your dog’s coat on a regular basis is a wonderful way to prevent him from getting too dirty by removing tufts of dirt that can easily get stuck there. It also prevents hair from matting and helps promote a straight-haired clean look that you can enjoy looking at.
A few items like these and a hose are pretty much all you need to scrub your dog down and clean him up good. Don’t let dirty dogs lie, get them up and give them a bath.
