What size TV should you get?
Getting a good HDTV is on everyone’s wish list. With the amount of HDTV’s out there it becomes quite difficult to choose one. Among the various factors that need to be considered when buying a HDTV the size is most often the deciding factor.
When it comes to getting the right sized HDTV’s you would need to consider quite a few things. One of the first things you would need to consider is the viewing distance. This is basically the distance between you and your television. For a 19 inch television the minimum distance between them should be about 4 feet. 19 inch television sets are great for kitchens or bedrooms. 19 inch televisions can be quite versatile and be used with your desktop computer via HDMI. If you plan on a large screen 50 inch television then the minimum distance for optimum viewing pleasure should be about 11 feet. This distance should be maintained as it will not only provide you with optimum viewing pleasure but also keep your eyes from getting strained.
The thing you should look at before deciding on size would be whether the TV supports 3D. When it comes to getting a TV with 3D capability getting a 32 inch or anything lower doesn’t make sense. If you want to make full use of the 3D capability then you should consider getting a 40 inch plus HDTV. The LG 47LM8600 47 in TV would be a great choice if you are looking for a 3D TV. This TV coupled along with some great surround sound speakers would make a great home theater system.
The next thing you would need to consider would be what you are planning to use your HDTV for. A fairly large screen TV would be great for a home theater system. But if you are planning on using it to watch your soaps and other TV shoes then getting a large screen TV wouldn’t make sense. The last and probably the most important thing you would need to consider would be your budget. The bigger the TV the more expensive it is.
