Being a fashionista doesn’t mean that you follow fashion trends blindly. It simply means that you know that looks great on you! It might be a piece that hasn’t been seen on the runway recently, but remains a classic. One of the best examples here would be womens wide leg jeans.  I have never been a fan of skinny jeans, though I love wearing them occasionally.

When it comes to comfortable wear, wide leg pants or jeans do the trick for me. Wearing wide leg pants is a great alternative to the overly popular skinny jeans. If a person doesn’t always like to go with the trends then wearing a wide leg pant is not only retro looking but figure flattering if you have an hour glass figure. It also works for women with pear-shaped bodies too.

The idea is that you should be comfortable wearing what you wear. For instance, wide legged trousers or jeans can be tucked in if you have a slime and shapely waist! If not then sport it with blouses that have ruffles or an elastic ruche to create the illusion of a slimmer waist. Both look nice with this combination.

You can pick them in an assortment of designs. There’s the casual drawstring pattern in linen and other similar fabrics for relaxed wear. Then there are the more flowy and formal ones in satin for formal occasions or even clubbing.

Another trend, which I feel has always been understated, are camo pants for women. These are sensible picks for lounging, the beach or even a casual weekend getaway. You can pick from lengths that complement your body type. For instance, if you are sleeker around the hips and legs, opt for short style ones. For those with slightly heavier bottoms or thighs, straight fit ones that end below the knee are smart picks.
