Fabric patterns that anyone can pull off

Going to the movies can be a difficult outing to plan for when it comes to deciding what to wear. On one hand you want to be comfortable, since you’re sitting for an extended period of time, and warm, since movie theaters are notoriously chilly. On the other hand you want to feel confident in what you’re wearing since you’re out in public. Taking inspiration from celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, we’ve put together the perfect casual chic outfit, pairing fitted jeans or khakis with a blue and white gingham shirt.

The outfit is so simple and I realized that sometimes classic and quintessential fabrics are all that it is needed to look good. In fact this gingham shirt has got tons of uses which I will share with you. The best part is that it transitions well into fall too with its layers. Do you have one? If not then I suggest you put it on your shopping list right away.

Gingham shirt’s make for a lovely spring layering piece too. All I did was added my mustard cardigan and skinny jeans and a pair of pumps to get the effect of pattern mixing. In fact even dress pants would look classic.

Fall is also a perfect time to simply layer a warm outfit with a blazer. I love to use my woman’s gingham shirt with a solid blazer or even a woolen vest to create several outfits for outdoors and indoors.

Certain fabrics and prints out there are for only certain people, but when it comes to classic prints like a gingham shirt there is nothing to worry. Just sport in different styles feeling the confidence of comfort and fashion.
