What size TV do you need?
This is one of the most common questions that almost everyone asks themselves when buying a new television. Getting the right TV size is quite tricky as it depends on quite a few things. Here are a few things that you should consider before buying a TV.
One of the first things you would need to consider before buying a TV is your budget. Generally the larger the TV the more expensive it is. Large sized plasma TV’s are however relatively cheaper when compared to large sized LCD/LED TV’s. Plasma TV’s are however more energy consuming and they occupy quite a bit of space. In addition to that they require their bulb to be changed once in a while which gets expensive. For example a 72 inch Plasma TV would cost as much as a 65 inch LED TV or sometimes even lesser. So as you can see there are quite a few options when it comes to the budget aspect of choosing a new TV with regards to its regarding size.
Once you’ve sorted your budget you would need to consider the size of the room you are planning to place the TV in. When considering the size of the room the most important aspect would be to consider the distance between you and the TV. If the distance between you and your TV is less than 10 feet then the best size for optimum viewing pleasure would be a 42 inches. Anything beyond 42 inches would cause a considerable strain on your eyes. If you want a large screen 60 inch TV then you should ensure that you have at least 15 feet between you and your TV. The Sharp 60 inch TV does have significant technology which reduces the strain on your eyes but it doesn’t eliminate the problem.
The next thing to consider when deciding on the size would be the purpose of your TV. If you are planning to make it as the display for your home theater system then a large screen TV would be appropriate. If you are planning to use it for watching your favorite soaps and play console games then a smaller sized TV would be sufficient.
