How to wear women’s ankle boots
As I sit down to write about ‘How to wear women’s ankle boots,’ I really think it is one of those fashions that is not so easy to deal with. Ankle boots don’t really look great with all body types and surely not with all outfits. Even in the world of celebrities, where most of them have maintained themselves, can’t just go wearing them about.
Wearing the ankle boots with right outfit and body type is a delicate balance. You don’t have to look as if you were trying too hard; instead look like one who has high fashion sense. It will be best to even out the balance of your look by pairing up your black ankle boots along with a black jacket. Besides this, there are some other ways too to wear them and look chic. Take a look:
1. With skinny jeans. Wear your ankle boots with a skinny jean. Make sure that the jean is tight enough at the ankle so that it doesn’t bundles up there. Prefer to go for a dark wash jean as it gives the most figures forgiving look. If you have a plus sized figure, pair it with an empire waist shirt. Ankle boots shorten the look of your legs, so be careful with this style.
2. With tights or leggings. Black color is slimming, lengthening and flattering, so if you have black desert boots women, you should pair them up with black leggings or tights. This will help you combat with your shorten legs. A super mini dress, a bigger shirt or a few layers on top along with body hugging lower half will balance out your entire look.
3. With a Short Skirt or Dress. Make sure that your skirt or dress is of the length that reaches your mid thigh. This gives your legs a slimmer and longer look. This especially holds true with a pair of black tights. Your legs will look short and frumpy if the length of the dress is up till knees or lower. Pencil skirts are a big ‘no.’ However A-line skirts/dresses look the best.
