Since we can’t all have Gisele Bündchen or Alessandra Ambrosio’s confidence when it comes to sporting an itsy bitsy bikini, there are some alternatives for those of us who are still in the beginning stages of our New Year’s get fit resolutions. Fortunately there are still ways in which you can feel confident about swimsuit shopping as you begin to plan for the beach and pool side season. This full coverage suit combines the one piece look with the flattering feminine details of a dress. Sometimes these suits get a bad rep because they often times seen by women who are not wearing them properly. The point of a swimdress is that you can get the right amount of support, most come with underwire, and coverage that you need to feel confident. They are designed to allow you to move freely and comfortably while drawing the eye upward. These pieces are extremely versatile as they give you the freedom to cover up how you feel most comfortable. Also their sheer fabric still shows some skin if you don’t want to feel like you are covering up too much.

Swim shorts

These are especially great for sporty activities, like if you are going to try out surfing at the beach, or attending a game of beach volleyball. The fabric allows you to move around comfortably during a lot of activity, but also allow you to cool off if you decide to jump in the pool or take a dip in the ocean.
