Putting personal flare with your essential clothes
Every man’s personal style is based on a set of essentials. It could be a set of essential rules or a set of essential articles of clothing. While they’re young, there are a host of boys who will adopt an urban style. Maybe their essentials are skate shoes and skinny jeans or baggy pants and snap backs. Others will be more influenced by rock ‘n’ roll, and they’ll dawn raggedy t-shirts and leather jackets. Youth is a great time to explore your tastes in fashion and style, but as they grow older, most men will start to understand that basic rules of dressing properly. As such, their essentials change to more businesslike garments: plain t-shirts, collared dress shirts, sports jackets, slacks, and chinos. Those are a few of the standards.
While business casual demands a certain base wardrobe, it is always difficult to let go of old habits. How does one simply shelve his favorite snap back fitted cap after it has accompanied him on so many wild adventures? Like they say: “You can take the kid out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood of the kid.” There is no need to fret, though. There are casual days and days off when you can dig into your closet for the items that remind you of your youthful preferences.
It could be a mens denim jacket if you ever have cowboy or rock ‘n’ roll phase. A simple and thoughtless style choice like a blue denim jacket might have been just something you threw over your Led Zeppelin t-shirt, but you’d be surprised how well it will match with a casual button up shirt. Even beat up high top converses will look great with casual jeans and a blazer, so long as you don’t wear them into the office.
