Jacket styles change every season, but there are certain staples in the wardrobe that remain a classic. Jean jackets for men are one such garment piece. You can have them in your wardrobe for years and still not get bored with them.

How? Well if you had purchased a deep blue jacket then over the years you will notice that the color fades. Certain parts tend to rip out and lose threads come on the edges, which gives it a vintage touch. I personally love the rugged look in these jackets. So, even though it may be like 10 years old, you would still be seen as uber suave because this is something always in style.

Now, there are no strict rules when it comes to sporting jeans or denim jackets, but you need to keep them away from your formal attire. The best way to sport these would be with jean bottoms. But the trick is to create some contrast. Here are some simple looks put together for you-

Semi formal

Going to an outdoor party or a semi formal brunch, then think of this black denim jacket with a pair of corduroys or classic dark blue jeans. A white shirt with oxfords and brown belt adds to the style quotient.

Casual

Go ahead and sport the blue or black denim jacket with shorts, khakis , jeans and almost any other casual bottom. Put on flip flops for the beach look or leather sandals for a more distinguished touch.

Western or cowboy

If you have a jean jacket with embellishments then you do not need to do much with the bottoms, a pair of ankle length boots suffice. But if the jacket is plain, pull on above the knee boots with studs or buckles.
