Boho style guide tips
With summer right around the corner, you have probably already begun going through your wardrobe clean-out and making a list of things you will need/want for the summer season. One of our favorite looks for the summer is the bohemian style; we absolutely love its carefree and down-to-earth elegance. However, we also recognize that the boho style can be a difficult one to rock for some, especially if you are trying to accomplish the boho chic style. We’ve put together a guide to the best boho pieces and accessories that will look great on everyone and are easy to put together.
The boho look is all about strategic layering. These layers are typically long and flowing, like long oversized cape-like cardigan over a tank and a pair of skinny pants or maxi skirt. You want to make sure you balance the proportions well and not get lost in your clothing so it looks like you’re swimming in it, but do feel like have some more freedom to pair the long, flowing pieces together.
This is an essential staple that looks beautiful on everyone and is easy to wear over and over again, accessorizing to make different outfits. Throw on a jean jacket or vest on top, or be ultra trendy with a fur vest. These dresses look great with a pair of gladiator sandals or even a pair of ankle boots.
Whether it is a peacock feather or a solid color, it is all about the delicate length of these. They are so chic and elegant that you can even wear these earrings with something other than the boho look.
This can be in the form of a bracelet, a clutch, or a belt; the possibilities really are endless. Plus these accessories go great with the eclectic aspect of the bohemian style so you won’t have to worry about meticulous matching.
Most importantly, have fun with the boho look because it represents individual freedom of expression through fashion, and that should be embraced.
