With the spring and summer seasons fast approaching, there is one thing I’m sure is on every woman’s mind: a new spring/summer dress. However, this can also cause some anxiety because it has been a while since we’ve needed to think about dress shopping. But this concern should not stop you from enjoying the sunshine and warmer temperatures in an adorable new dress. To help you out, we’ve put together some of the cutest and most feminine dress styles that will look good on any body type.

Faux-wrap dress

This dress style is exactly like a wrap dress, but less complicated and much easier to throw on; which is essential for the working woman, especially since standard wrap dresses can be unnecessarily difficult to put on. These dresses typically have a looser fit, while still creating a nice silhouette as the wrap detail hits at the right spot, accentuating your curves. For a unique wrap look, try a Grecian dress with the same draping detail across the bodice.

Simple ruffles

Sometimes women shy away from ruffles because they can add unnecessary bulk to your outfit. However, if the ruffle detailing is minimal and simple then it actually adds to a streamline silhouette if the detailing is vertical.

Peplum

This style helps to draw attention to the smallest part of your body, your waist, and highlight it giving you a nice hourglass shape. However, you do need to be careful and make sure the peplum flair isn’t too much. A simple and delicate flair is all you need.

Ruched-top

This style is especially flattering on women with a fuller figure with its high waist and then full flowing skirt. This style also creates an hourglass shape and gives you plenty of room to move around – the perfect summer time outfit.
