Essential TV accessories

Over the past decade or so, TVs have gotten exponentially better. They are no longer big and bulky; quite a few of the latest ones even display content in 3D. In addition to the improvement of television sets, TV accessories have also become a lot better. Here are a few essential TV accessories which you can use.
LCD and LED TVs are the slimmest TVs around. This allows you to save quite a bit of space in your room. To take advantage of their slim design, you might want to invest in a wall mount. Thanks to the slim design of LED and LCD TVs like a Mitsubishi TV, you can save a lot of floor space. Most wall mounts are adjustable, which allows you to have the best possible viewing angle. There are basically 3 different types of wall mounts: flat wall mounts, tilt wall mounts, and swivel wall mounts. Flat mounts are the most common ones around, but they do not have a range of motion.
Tilt mounts do exactly what you’d expect them to do. This is great when you are mounting the TV at a higher level than your eye line. These are great for bedrooms since they allow for a good viewing angle while lying down in bed. Most tilt mounts like the Atdec universal TV wall mount have a tilt angle of about 15 to 20 degrees. Swivel wall mounts are the most flexible available. As the name suggests, you can rotate the TV up to 60 degrees in either direction depending on the mount. This is quite handy, but you have to have the TV positioned up to 20 inches from the wall.
In addition to wall mounts, there are other accessories that you can use. If you have a home theater system, you should consider getting a universal remote. This way you can control your sound system, A/V receiver, DVD player and the TV with a single remote rather than having one for each device. Universal remotes are easy to use and quite convenient.
