Time spent with family is precious! In fact I look for every other opportunity in which I can get together with family to create some good memories. What better way for a family reunion than a boat trip? The reason why I am so excited is that my parents, my husband Matthew, Tom and Lisa my kids are all going on a getaway on a boat.

It is two weekends away when we would be going for one night and two days. Despite the trip being so many days away we all are looking forward and deciding of what we will be wearing. Tom and Lisa actually took out several outfits before they zeroed on their final ones. In fact Matthew and I were close to doing that too.

When it came to shoes I was excited to wear my new leopard print Sperrys. In fact it was very recently that I picked up a pair for myself. Matthew always his pair and said that it was the ideal choice for modern ‘prepsters’ on or off the water. When he bought it, he had stuck to a neutral color tan. However to our pleasant surprise there is an array of fresh colors available now.

We all love Sperrys so much that even Tom decided to ape his Dad and picked up a pair for himself. It is quite a misnomer that they look good for men only. Interestingly, we got little girl Sperry shoes as well. We were so glad that were also available for little Lisa too.

The durable and versatile nature has made these shoes our most favorite “hanging around’ pair.  I have gotten them soaked, run over, covered in mud and they kept coming back.

Good looking, good color, right price is how I describe Sperry shoes. Not to forget it was the perfect weekend getaway to wear them as well!
