Summer is approaching and these warm days allow you to show off your skin more than any other time, in particular women. Therefore it is important to feel ‘skin confident’. However, glowing on the beach is not that easy. You need to take good care of your skin.

One of the most important and simplest things to do is to exfoliate. Well, again I say- exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Whether you go for a scrubby sponge, body brush, pair of exfoliating gloves or shower gel scrub, make sure that you can exfoliate at least twice in a week during the summer months and get a smoother skin texture Go for a body brush every morning or try just one of those several exfoliating products and experience the huge difference on your skin emergence. The appearance of your cellulite would be increased while leaving behind beautifully soft skin.

During the summer months, we are much more likely to shave almost every day. While shaving however, you should be careful and do it properly. It is a good idea to use a good shaving cream designed for the job. In fact exfoliating before shaving and then applying cooling lotion is good to prevent razor burn. Some of the body areas are typically sensitive so you want to make sure you have the most basic and simple ingredient products so you don’t irritate the area. Moisturizing the area after a shave prevents drying out of the skin.

Now-a-days, even men have become increasingly conscious of their hygiene requirements. This is paving a great path to electric shavers.  It is important to care for your razors for the maintenance of your healthy skin. This also improves the life of the shaver/razor. Here are some things you need to keep in mind:

  •         Do not forget to clean and rinse the razor after use.
  •         You can get cleaning solutions from the market and clean out the whiskers once a week.
  •         Run the razor in the opposite direction than that of your hair grain. Do this slowly and evenly.
  •         If your shave is hard, pre-shave lotion is a good solution to soften it.

A closer and smoother shave reduces the chances of any cuts. Men might want to use some shaving oil on their face to get a close and effective shave.
