In order to practice yoga you need to be comfortable and free. Yoga clothes allow you that freedom of movement and comfort. You can initially practice yoga with sweatpants but once you become more experienced it is recommended that you get yourself a pair of yoga pants and a yoga top. You could also get yourself anti skid socks which will help you practicing various yoga positions.
Quite a few people tend to have yoga bands in their workout. These bands help you step up your yoga workout by adding resistance. This helps you improve your strength as well as helps you hold certain positions during your yoga workout.
Yoga sandbags are another piece of equipment which you would not need initially. You could add these once you’ve started to make progress. These sandbags help you to go a little deeper into a stretch. While it isn’t recommended that you force a stretch, these sandbags help you gently get into the right position. They help you with improving your flexibility. They should be carefully used as they can cause injury.
