My name is Hannah Grace Santucci. I am 22 years old and a recent graduate from the University of Oregon, where I double majored in Public Relations and Magazine journalism. I am a proud alumni of Kappa Delta sorority (Alpha Lambda chapter).
I love reading, cooking, baking, the ocean, dogs, chai tea, Game of Thrones, Grey’s Anatomy, scrapbooking, crafting in general, the band All Time Low, engaging in tomfoolery and getting myself into and out of various shenanigans! I’m currently working on my first fiction novel, which if I stop procrastinating will be done by June 2013.
As a graduate from the University of Oregon, I am a huge Oregon Ducks football fan. When I wasn’t cheering in the student section, I went to class and received my bachelor of arts in advertising and French. After graduation I spent a year teaching English to middle school and high school students in France and did as much traveling as I could throughout Europe on a limited teacher’s salary.
In addition to my love for exploring the world and continuously improving my French, I’m also a fan of music, reading, writing and year round Christmas lights.
I love essentially all media: movies, music, sweet television programs, books, video games, manga, social and traditional media. Nothing pleases me more than sharing my knowledge of quality entertainment with anyone who’ll listen. I also enjoy learning about new people, languages and cultures. I’ve dabbled with Vietnamese, Japanese, Spanish, and French, and my favorite books involve Zen, meaning and aliens.
I am a California boy, through and through. Raised in Milpitas, went to college in Berkeley, and then lived in Garden Grove for a stint. Now, I’m back in the South Bay where it all began.
I’m a recent graduate from Sonoma State University with a degree in English, so my first passion is writing and my second, which is by no means less important, is reading.
I’m a big fan of reading – Harry Potter is my favorite book series of all time – and when I’m not reading, I enjoy playing video games and watching movies. I also love browsing YouTube for a good Let’s Play or cat video. Some of my favorite movies are when Harry Met Sally and Anchorman. I’ve lived in the Bay Area most of my life and absolutely love it here.
I recently graduated from Cal State East Bay with a degree in Business Administration and am enjoying figuring out what I want to do in life. My hobbies include shopping, cooking, making my own beauty products, exploring the Bay Area with friends, and taking on DIY projects. Currently I am teaching myself how to sew clothing, since I’ve gotten bored with what department stores have to offer and because my tastes are very particular. I’ve travelled to India, France, and England and would love to see Japan and Taiwan. I’m pretty open to trying new things, especially if it involves learning a skill that will last a lifetime!
I should start off by saying the same thing I tell everyone when I first meet them: when I was nine years old, I made my parents buy me every James Bond movie there was. All those VHS’s take up a lot of space in my room. Biking, history, and reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez novels are my passions. I’ve given quite a few of my friends the silent treatment until they’ve made good on their vow to read “100 Years of Solitude” – a promise I more than likely coerced them into.
I have lived in the Bay Area all my life and graduated from San Jose State University in 2010 with a degree in public relations. I spent a good deal of time since then traveling and trying to pick up a few new languages.
Thanks for reading about me. Now that we’ve been acquainted, make sure you read the book.
I am a recent graduate of San Jose State University. I spent most of my time there roaming from class to class, catching up with friends, and oh yeah… working on a degree! I graduated with a bachelor’s in Business Marketing which officially says “I is smart!”
Competitive by nature, I strive to be the very best I can. I’m passionate about playing sports, specifically hockey, football, baseball, and golf. I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, so I do in fact bleed green. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, browsing Youtube for the latest laugh, or playing with my two dogs. I love making people laugh, making new friends, and don’t mind working hard to achieve goals.
Thai food and bagels toasted with cream cheese are my favorites, but more importantly I am a recent graduate from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. I was also born and raised in San Jose, but don’t for one second think that makes me closed minded. I love trying new things, meeting new people and writing about many subjects. I’ve written news stories, movie review blogs and even features for the “tween” age group.
Being born and raised in one city my whole life, I’m constantly dreaming of traveling to exotic countries. The best way I’ve learned to experience the world (without actually leaving the country) is through food. I love trying new dishes and restaurants, but am only beginning to learn how to cook. I recently graduated from San Jose State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a magazine emphasis. With music I can do anything, and I am constantly badgering my friends with song recommendations. If the weather is right, you’ll find me outside laying on the grass with friends or going for a bike ride.
Salsa dancer, martial artist, web designer, and SEO specialist who manages his own blog. He first made his splash on the big screen in the summer of 2009, playing the role of an intrepid intern who rises to blogging glory. He reprises his role in 2010, in what is sure to be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters.
I’m going to be bold and openly admit that I was a huge Power Ranger fan as a kid. I really wanted to be the Green Ranger, which prompted the start of my Tae Kwon Do life. Since my start in the 90’s, Tae Kwon Do has manifested into a pseudo-religion for me. It’s a reason for me to stay healthy and it drives my desire to learn more about fitness.
I have consolidated everything I attained during my studies at UC San Diego as a Biology major, the athletic knowledge I’ve accrued over many years, and the relevant information I’ve read in blogs/journals to apply to myself. I have seen amazing results without compromising my relatively lavish lifestyle too much. I hope to pass these tools to achieve personal success onto readers of the Be Active Health Blog.
Some people might call me cheap, but I find great satisfaction in comparison shopping, coupon cutting and second-hand treasures. When I can, I try to make things by hand to save money and exercise my creativity. I hope you like my product blog posts. I try to make them interesting with sprinklings of time saving and money saving tips just for you. Enjoy!
