I personally really like wedge shoes during the hot summertime months as they give you those extra inches that we are all looking for along with the comfort of a continuous sole.

Also, I like the versatility of the wedges as they can really transform your outfit by giving the appearance that your casual outfit looks really dressed up and they can also allow you to add a playful casual look when you are all dressed up.

For this summer, the fantastic Michael Kors espadrilles combine style and timeless  elegance. I also am particularly keen on the Sugar Shoes collection that is particularly hot in Europe at the moment.

You should remember that during the summer your feet tend to swell up so it is even more importatn to make sure that they are comfortable, especially if you have to walk around a lot.

For the fashion aficionado, let me give you this summer’s trend tip: gladiator shoes will be in so except a lot of leather and strings and strap to be going around.

Platform shoes are back too, which I have to admit I’m pretty happy about because I love to be able to ‘rise up’ from my 5,4′ without the inconvenience of the stiletto heel which often make you feel like you are going to break your ankles at each step. As far as colors are concerned, choose either animal prints or bright colors from the 80’s like yellow or orange.

Nine west sandals

I recently moved to US from Europe and so I only discovered the Nine West shoes and I just love them all. Perhaps because their Creative Director, Fred Allard is French… but honestlyit is simply because I like their style. They are very trendy and at the same time affordable and for this summer they have a wonderful selection to choose from.

Wedges sandal

So this summer you should target at least one pair of brown warrior sandals, one pair of printed wedges and one pair of orange platform sandals!
